Engage with Our Chapter
Attend dozens of catered meetings and events throughout the year with guest speakers to learn more about contemporary issues in pharmacy, novel career pathways, and interesting opportunities
Network with other student pharmacists at social events like Pharmal, the College’s widely attended and APhA-sponsored formal dance during the spring semester
Help plan, volunteer at, and attend Pharmtoberfest, the largest college-wide event of the year
Patient Care Events
Participate in events hosted by our three committees, each focused on serving a particular patient population, disease state, or public health issue: chronic diseases, medication safety, and reproductive health
Directly engage in patient care activities, such as performing point-of-care blood glucose and blood pressure testing, to develop your skill set, boost your CV, and help your community
Attend “universal training” and other training sessions to learn more about contemporary patient-care services and best practices, both of which are directly applicable to coursework and careers
Leadership Opportunities
Our chapter has ~16 unique leadership positions, including a position just for an incoming P1 student
Run for regional or national office within APhA to serve over 10,000 student pharmacists across the entire nation
Serve on one of APhA’s five National Standing Committees to help support the operation of the 125+ APhA chapters across the country
International Opportunities
